The Chateau of the Great Sun once served as a base for the French Foreign Legion.

They periodically come to honour the association with an occasional military display in the square in front of the chateau.

It is also possible to visit the Foreign Legion's Headquarters in Castelnaudary.

The village also holds fetes in the square.

There is so much to see and do in this area of South West France.

The Lac de St Fereol offers the opportunity to swim, sunbathe, or go boating.
